proxy unable to authenticate

Hello,

I am tring to connect to Wallcooler behind a proxy.

The setting in Internet Explorer where I am accessing the internet in Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN Settings are:

Proxy Server: xx.xxx.xxx.xx Port 8080

I enter this into Wallcooler's settings and click "Test Connection" , and it says "Proxy unable to authenticate user on xx.xxx.xxx.xx:8080

I have following the instructions with regards to the firewall also.

Can anyone assist me from here?

Hi,

You also need to enter authentication information (username and password) for your LAN proxy.
To do so, just check "Proxy Authentication" in WallCooler proxy settings and enter your Windows username and password.

Note: if you are using a Windows Domain, the add the domain name in front of the username like this:
DOMAIN\USERNAME
