I have just installed this on my work PC and over my local network, and am very impressed. The routing through the HTTP server at vedivi hardly affects the remote desktop at all in terms of speed compared to a standard VPN or RDP connection.

Question: any plans on making a Windows Home Server plugin frontend? That would be fantastically useful extra for the pro version, especially for people like me who have Vista Home Premium on one network machine which means I can't RDP to it through the home server.

Hi,

WallCooler gives you access to the remote computer (or network with Pro/Ent), so you can use any remote screen software you want.
Remote Desktop is the default choice as it is part of Windows (except Home versions).
Otherwise, we recommand using UltraVNC instead of Remote Desktop as it is free and easy to use, WallCooler will automatically take care of the routing.

So you just need to install UltraVNC on both your computers and use it as if you were on the same network (let WallCooler work out the magic).
